Original UK release in matt gatefold cover on yellow Rolling Stones Records labels. Includes two LP-sized inserts: • Brown thick paper credits/photos insert. • Standard Paper 'Goat's Head Soup' insert. Thanks to all at Dynamic Sound Studios, Kingston, Jamaica, W.I. where this album was recorded A Promotone B.V. Recording 1973 ℗ 1973 Billy Preston & Jim Horn by courtesy of A & M Records Nicky Hopkins by courtesy of C.B.S. Records Published by Essex Music Int. Since 1969, The Rolling Stones only on Rolling Stones Records - This is a new record, beware of repackaging Distributed by WEA Records Ltd. ℗ 1973 © Printed in England by Richard Davis Ltd. Rarely, the promotional "Goat Head Soup" sticker by John Pasche can be found with the record, mainly attached to the top right sleeve. Here is what Pasche, the cover art designer said in an interview: „At a very late stage they decided to use some new photos of the band for the cover and the soup images were used as a folded poster with the album and also for stickers promoting the album’s release.“ These exact stickers alone pop up from time to time without the record and also have been found on the second matrix variation. These facts, their rarity and their "promotional character" would lead to the conclusion that they have not been an integral part of the first album release. Maybe the company handed them out to some stores who either gave them away as a gift or put them on the sleeves. This release is without 'Made In UK' printed on labels above 'Side One' and 'Side Two', contrary to later and . The runouts are stamped, except for 'ROLLING STONES RECORDS' which is etched.
